BDS3 10W module is a dual-mode module launched by Chengdu BDStar Nebula Technology Company that supports Beidou RDSS/RNSS function. The module integrates a high-performance RDSS RF transceiver chip, a power amplifier module with 10W output power, a special RDSS baseband circuit for Beidou, and a domestic BD2 B1/GPS L1 miniaturized navigation and positioning module, which can realize RDSS positioning, communication functions and RNSS navigation and positioning functions. The size of the module is 58.3mm×54mm×12mm (excluding MCX connectors), which is smaller. The module has high integration, low power consumption, very simple external interface, and is compatible with common module interfaces on the market, which is convenient for users to use.
Features:
The S-frequency receiving circuit of the module is a built-in LNA, which can realize the filtering and low-noise amplification of the RDSS satellite signal, and the user can directly connect the passive antenna without an external LNA; The BD2 B1/GPS L1 frequency receiving circuit does not contain LNA, and customers need an external active antenna of B1/L1 frequency to use it normally;
The internal RDSS/RNSS function of the module has independent output of dual serial ports, and the host computer can upgrade the software version of the RDSS/RNSS function through the corresponding serial port;
The module has a built-in 10W power amplifier module, which can meet the needs of most customers for the transmission power of the module;
The module has a built-in BD2 B1/GPS L1 dual-mode module, which supports three working modes and can be switched between them by commands:
Single BD2 B1 working mode;
Single GPS L1 working mode;
BD2 B1/GPS L1 dual-mode working mode.
The average power consumption of the module is 170mA@5V (excluding B1/L1 frequency active antennas), and the power consumption is low. Transient current when the power amplifier works: I(5V)≤1.2A, I(12V)≤2.5A.
