The white paper points out that the Beidou Navigation Satellite System is a satellite navigation system independently built and operated by China in view of the needs of national security and economic and social development. After years of development, the Beidou system has become an important new infrastructure to provide all-weather, all-day, high-precision positioning, navigation and timing services for users around the world.
The relevant person in charge of the Air Traffic Control Industry Management Office of the Civil Aviation Administration of China said that this is the first time that China's civil aviation has taken its own team as the core and successfully promoted the inclusion of China's independent innovation complex system into the ICAO standard, which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of civil aviation and the construction of a transportation power.
The white paper points out that in the future, China will build a more technologically advanced, more powerful and better service Beidou system, build a more ubiquitous, more integrated and more intelligent comprehensive space-time system, and provide highly flexible, highly intelligent, high-precision and high-security positioning, navigation and timing services, so as to better benefit people's livelihood and well-being and serve human development and progress.
The white paper stresses that China is willing to share the achievements of the development of the Beidou system with other countries, jointly promote the vigorous development of the world's satellite navigation industry, work together towards a broader sea of stars, and make new and greater contributions to building a community with a shared future for mankind and a better world.
